Where I've been
By God’s grace, my leadership influence crosses denominational, racial, cultural, age, educational, and economic boundaries. My comfort with a blend of cultures and races stems from my early years. My father was an Air Force weatherman who later embraced the call to preach. Due to his military and ministry career, I lived in various places in Europe and the Southwestern United States. For the past 30 years, I've primarily lived in the Southeastern United States.
In my dad’s shadow, I encountered various people, groups, and cultures, learning along the way how to cross cultural lines through the culture-crossing story of Jesus Christ. In Christ, barriers are broken down.
I gathered many life stories during my childhood and young adult years. I take great pleasure in using these stories to bring God's story to life. I have been privileged to share in various mission points throughout the U.S. and around the world, including Russia, Kazakhstan, England, India, and Honduras. In 1997, I was invited by Senator Connie Mack and the U.S. Senate Chaplain, Dr. Lloyd John Ogilvie, to pray before the U.S. Senate.
A God-directed progression in my work has involved coaching fellow pastors and business leaders based on my experiences. I have also learned a great deal from each of these individuals. I truly enjoy working with church and business leaders to help clarify their direction and achieve their desired results.
